We are so glad you found us! We are an active, loving, Christ-centered congregation in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. On this page you can learn a bit about what to expect when you visit us. We can’t wait to welcome you to Second Church!

Parking - it’s always an issue downtown! We have our own parking lot located directly across Pine Street from the church. During the week it serves as paid parking available to the public, however it’s always available for those coming to the church. On Sundays it’s reserved for those attending worship, and is blocked off by our wonderful sexton, Hayden. There is also overflow parking in the lot behind the church (corner of 7th and Chestnut) until 1:00 pm on Sundays.

Second Presbyterian has several entrances. The red doors enter into our education building, where Sunday School classrooms, the nursery, and the Helwig Fellowship Hall are located. The gated doors lead directly into the sanctuary.

There is a ramp on the Pine Street side of the church that leads directly into the sanctuary. In addition, there is an ADA accessible restroom located just off of the sanctuary.

Children are welcome and loved at Second! We offer 2 Sunday school classes based on age. Nursery for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old is available during worship. Older children are welcome to stay in worship for the entire service or leave after the time for young disciples for Children's Church.
