A called congregational meeting will be held after worship for the purpose of hearing annual reports from our Elders and Deacons, and voting on the Pastor’s terms of call.

February 2 | 10:30 a.m.

The Morning Circle will meet Monday, February 2 at 10:30 a.m. We will study Lesson 5, “The Gift of the Woman Who Was Poor.” Please bring snacks for the Hope House Coffee House.

Join the Second Nature group for their first outing of 2026 as they visit both Cherokee capitals, Chota and Tunasi. They will have lunch at Tellico Bakery, visit the Cherohala Visitor Center and Sequoyah museum, and follow the route of Unicoi Turnpike. Help tackle hunger in our community by making a donation during the Souper Bowl of Caring! Following worship on Sunday, February 8, our youth will be at the back of the sanctuary with soup bowls to collect monetary donations to be given to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. If you wish to give by check, please make it out to Second Presbyterian and indicate Souper Bowl on the memo line.

February 11 | 6:00 p.m.

The next evening Circle meeting will be Wednesday, February 11th at 6pm in the Helwig Fellowship Hall. In honor of the upcoming Valentine's Holiday, please bring a "Red" colored dish. That could be a pasta dish, a cake....be creative! Carol Medford will be leading the discussion from Lesson 6 in the PW Bible Study. Having a book is not a requirement to attend. All women are welcome!! See you there.

Roses are red, violets are blue, on February 14 we can’t wait to see you! Children and grandchildren are invited to a Valentine’s party from 10:00 a.m. - noon. Please feel free to bring a friend or two!

How has the Bible been preserved and transmitted to us? How did early Christians decide which writings to include in the Bible? The Tuesday Bible Study will work through the book How We Got the Bible to consider answers to these and other questions. All are welcome each week at 2:00 p.m. in the Elmore Room.
